Volunteers for the Prom Dinner
                     Volunteers

There are many opportunities available to offer your time and
     talent at St. Marys UMC.
Call the church office 684-3018 if you want to volunteer your
      services.

We have listed only a few possibilities where you can help others and receive the blessing of new
                                                                friends.

Small repair jobs around the church

Athletic team meals - volunteer to fix dishes, buy food/supplies, clean-up
Bazaar (October) - make craft items or baked goods

Neighbor Network - various opportunities to volunteer, please contact Jennifer White, Director at 304-684-3990
     Visitation - contact Pastor Clare

Purchase items for any of these - all items can be left in the office or in the  hallway near the office

(write on the bag - who the items are to go to).

Church - cleaning products, toilet paper, paper towels, room fresheners
WV Mission projects - layette items, diapers, baby/toddler clothing, diaper  coupons
Back to School Blast - purchase backpacks and leave them in the classroom  nearest the office (backpacks are
                                              needed by July 31)

Neighbor Network - non-perishable foods, paper products, cleaning products, layette items, diapers
Snack Packs - ready to eat items.  All items must be easy to open -- small children may be                                                  feeding themselves.  Individual size cans of fruit, pudding, Vienna sausage, etc., small packs                                            of crackers/cookies fresh fruit, fruit drinks, banana chips/raisins, dried fruits/ trail mix,                                                    protein or fruit bars.  Our items are taken to the Boys and Girls Club.  They assemble the                                                  "packs" each week and deliver them to the schools on Friday -- the packs are sent home with                                            children/youth who need food for the weekend.

You may want to volunteer only
occasionally or on a more consistent basis.
